Vins Henri Badoux, Aigle, Vaux, Switzerland
Founded in 1908, Badoux make a wide range of wines from grapes grown in and around Aigle and neighbouring Yvorne, and further afield in the Valais. The "Aigle Les Murailles" is one of the top wines - and one of the most famous - in Switzerland, and the crazy steep vineyards are amongst the most spectacular around. Besides the classic Aigle wines, there are also fascinating white Chasselas and powerful red blends from Lavaux and from the Chablais towns of Yvorne and Ollon. The Valais selection is also notable - the Fendant and Dole are classic pillars of our range, and there is also a full range of regional varieties.
Swiss star oenologue Daniel Dufaux - previously from other Nick Dobson Wine suppliers "Vins Dufaux" & "F&D Giroud", and president of the Swiss Oenologues - continues to take Badoux from strength to strength - as shown by the "Cuvée Prestige" range and the "Lézard Rouge".
