A charming Pinot Blanc from the J L Wolf estate, owned by Loosen since 1996. The focus here is on dry whites, which have a delicacy and mineral fruitiness. An excellent wine for drinking on its own or with food.

A medium red, this has a medium nose, principally spicy, and with some notes of cooked black fruits. It has medium body, with bramble/cooked black fruit flavours, pepper and spice, and a subtle earthiness. Very good length, spicy and dry. This wine will come as a bit of a surprise for those whose experience of German reds is of thin insipid examples; really very nice indeed. Probably more of a wine for food; will go well with white meats and roast lamb. Serve around 14-15 degrees C.
