We offer a wide range of wines from the Burgundy region in east-central France. Our particular speciality is wines from the southern parts of Burgundy, namely the Beaujolas, Mâconnais, and Côte Chalonnaise regions, from which come a fine range of reds, whites, rosés, and sparkling wines in the form of Crémant de Bourgogne. We shall also shortly be offering some wines from the Côte d'Or - the region further north encompassing the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits. Also we will shortly have a small but excellent range of wines from Chablis. Much more detail about each of these regions is to be found on the relevant regional pages.

Crémant de Bourgogne
Like most major wine regions in the world, Burgundy makes a sparkling wine, Crémant de Bourgogne. It's made using the "Méthode Traditionelle" - the same way wines are made in Champagne. Crémant is made in various parts of Burgundy, and is not restricted to a particular sub-zone, although much production is focused around the village of Rully in the Côte Chalonnaise. Because these wines don't originate from the Champagne region, you don't pay the premium associated with the name. Good Crémant de Bourgogne wines make an excellent alternative to Champagne, but cost considerably less.
